gold shoe
A pair of solid gold, diamond-encrusted shoes worth £100,000 has gone on sale in the UK.The hand-made Eternal Diamond Stilettos, which are the most expensive footwear in the world, are covered in thousands of diamonds.
A team of goldsmiths craft the shoes from solid sheets of gold, before 2200 diamonds are set by hand, and each pair takes 100 hours to be completed. So far, five of the sparkly stilettos, which are said to be on the must have list of Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton and Cheryl Cole, have been sold.

Created by designer Christopher Michael Shellis and produced in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, central England, the shoes are then sold through The House of Borgezie. “Shoes are something women find totally irresistible, and I wanted a way of showcasing my skills of goldsmithing, diamond-setting and design in a way that was really attractive,” the Courier Mail quoted Shellis as saying.
“These shoes are iconic and elegant and are the ultimate form of female expression. The reaction to the shoes has been amazing. People literally stop and stare when they see them,” he said. The dazzling heels also come with a 1000-year guarantee.

Women Fashion Shoes.

If you are participating in a formal event, like a wedding or a prom, the tendancy is to purchasethat match up in color to the dress. As this is normally a one time event, it's a good idea to not spend a lot of money on formal shoes as the possibility or wearing these shoes again is very low percentage. So stay away from the expensive versions, and leave the $100 at the store, sacrifice comfort for a lower entry cost, and spend the money elsewhere in your shoe collection.
women-fashion-shoesBy elsewhere, I mean spend the money on a pair of formal, women fashion shoes that are soft and comfortable, that will wear well, and that can be applied to a number of events and outfits. Enhance Any Wedding Venue.

Flat-heeled shoes have stepped up their game to emerge as a hot fashion trend for the spring-summer season.
The detailed and embellished ballet flats, sandals and peep-toes have been elevated to become a serious alternative to the high heels that some women still feel are needed for dressy or business occasions.
In fact, the flat-shoe shape might be a better complement to this year's longer, more languid fashion silhouette.
"Flats are one of the cool ways to wear spring outfits," says Paola Venturi, creative director of Via Spiga. "I like to see a bronze-coloured T-strap in a bronze colour with a dress in a bright colour — maybe a carrot or tomato red — and I love a graphic-print, black-and-white dress with a granite version. For the '70s influence that's everywhere, I think a thong is really sophisticated."
She sees a peasant blouse, wide-leg trousers and thong with rhinestones, influenced by vintage belts she found in an Italian marketplace, in her future. The jewel details "makes it feel like a city shoe," Venturi explains. "It's not a casual pair of flip-flops."
With longer hemlines — and especially the tricky mid-calf pencil skirt — higher heels can throw off proportions, says Lauren Dupont, creative director at Jack Rogers, a brand best known for its thick, leather stitching, popularized by Jackie Kennedy.
The shorter shoe "grounds" the outfit, Dupont explains. The shoe doesn't have to be completely, perfectly flat, but a shoe with just a bit of heel creates an easy line from the leg, she says, and, if there's an ankle strap, you've just ramped up the sex appeal.
Choosing a black heel or sole instead of, say, a more casual natural wood colour adds refinement.
Even Jimmy Choo, a brand synonymous with strappy stilettos, has several flat options, including a zip-back sandal "perfect for lazy days spent poolside," according to its website, and a glamorous, beaded tribal-style option.
While company co-founder Tamara Mellon is always photographed in heels, flats are an equal partner in her wardrobe. That's what she wears for the "every days," when she's going to the office or on an errand with her daughter.
The flat shoe is a safer place to introduce some of the bold, bright colours that are another must-have for spring. Just a swath of yellow, blue or violet across the band of a sandal is an easier adjustment for the eye than four inches of that colour on a heel.
"Flats give you a chance to play — whether they are pointy at the toe or they're a Mary-Jane style, but personally I would play with colour," says Alexandra Wilkis Wilson, chief merchandising officer.
In styling their fashion shoots, she says Gilt will use patent leather or embellishment to make a daytime outfit dressier, but cocktail or evening looks usually get a metallic leather.
Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy can be role models for fashionable flats — and Katie Holmes, too. Maybe these tall women are the ones who've helped bring low heels back into the zeitgeist.
"They bring a broad awareness to anything they wear," says stylist Robert Verdi. "They've OK'd the shorter heel and put their stamp of approval on it."
With a skirt or skinny-leg pants, heel height and wearer's height don't matter, says Dupont, but with a fuller trouser, a tall frame helps. (Her hint for the more petite set is a platform.)
"The shoes had been getting crazy high — unbearable," says Kelly Golden, owner of the Chicago-area boutique Neapolitan, who reports selling many pairs of platform-style flats even before the snow had melted. A Derek Lam version was the first shoe she's ever sold out of.
"People are happy to see lower-heel options," she says.
Still, says Verdi, women need to realize when and where flats are the right choice — and not rule out heels.

Bridget’s handbag.

Bridget Moynahan leather bags

Bridget Moynahan: Work on the elegant bags collection
Call me freak, but to be honest, every time I look at such pictures, celebrity with a leather purse, my point is always the purse, then the celebrity. But this one, so weird for me, I paid attention to the celebrity first. You know it’s been a long time not seeing “Poor Bridget”. Is she heading to a gym, why every celebrity has some fabuluos bags to carried even to the gym? I seldom paid attention to Bridget’s handbags, but let’s say this is one of the very attractive leather bags with simple and elegant designs. I love this tan hue and the supple leather look.

It looks so high-fashion.

I have to be honest.  I have never really been a fan of David’s Bridal.  Most of their dresses don’t look refined and are made of satin, which isn’t really flattering to anyone.  It’s also a bit too matchy-matchy.
I do get it.  Brides want to look regal and while they may gaze longingly at that Badgley Mischka or Vera Wang gown in Martha Stewart Weddings, one of those desginer gowns may cost half of their wedding budget.  So, a bride overwhelmed by overpriced gowns may find herself gravitating toward a place where she knows she can find a wedding dress can afford.
My opinion has changed.  David’s Bridal has just debuted their line of wedding dresses designed by the one, the only, Vera Wang.  Vera Wang White is an elegant, modern collection of gorgeous gowns that look couture without the $7,000 plus price tag.  Now that is something to get excited about.
Stunning.

These dresses are beautiful, inexpensive wedding gowns.  They are not cheap, but,  they are at far under Vera Wang’s couture price point and rather on target for a less expensive wedding dress.
The dresses range from $600 to $1400 and come in sizes 0-14 (bridal sizes are smaller than regular dress sizes, I know).
Here are some of my favorites:

And my all-time personal favorite that is sooo incredibly gorgeous and looks fresh from the runway:

There are also beautiful wedding dress accessories such as this beaded sash for $148:

And this gorgeous horsehair (I think it is not actual horse hair, or at least I hope it isn’t) sash for $58.  This wedding dress accessory accentuates your waist and creates major drama.  It comes in black (so dramatic) and ivory (if you want to play it safer or match your pastel wedding theme):

Chanel Sunglasses Trends in 2011

I pay more emphasis I have affection for glasses, especially for sunglasses. Eyes are important, and good ornament to eyes makes for beauty. Even they are myopic lens. I’d like to share what I have learned from  assortment.
First, let’s talk about facial form. Gracile and quadrate optical frames are suitable for round face. The curve of the glasses can to some degree regulate the facial form. But oval face can be applied to any kind of glasses. What frame suits the square face? Definitely is the round and lovely frame, which and make the lines of face softer. If you have a heart-shaped face, then I shall congratulate you. You can wear whatever kind of glasses you like. Your face goes with everything.
Here are some sunglasses that I specially recommend to women. One is cartoon sunglasses. It makes women look more lovely and natural. With many bright colors of frame, the glasses are artistic and high-key. Women with round, oval and heart-shaped faces are more appropriate.

Another is double-frame and single-frame glasses. Double-frame glasses look more punk style with large eyeglass. Women with cool and silent temperament are more likely to wear the double-frame glasses. Single-frame glasses are sententious and we can see clearly the bright eyes behind the glasses. They agree with simple makeup.
Last but not least, wide-beam  almost go with every shape of face, unless you have an unbelievably small face. They can bring to us a colorful fashion world, where Paris’s luxuriance, Milan’s modern; New York’s practicality and London’s individuality are united. They make people look mysterious and argute.
I’d like to say more if you don’t feel bored. But costume arrangement is really complicated. It needs personal conjecture. Starting with my favorite glasses, you will definitely find your own style.

According to a glasses shop sales staff introduce: “The toad lens of the retro design is more popular this season, mainly popular among the fashion ladies.” In addition, in order to satisfy consumer demand, many optical shops like the glasseshop.com have held services of prescription sunglasses. So, people with a problem of myopia can also get a pair of suitable fashion stylish sunglasses for the summer.

When you saw your friend having not a myopia problem was wearing a pair of glasses, will you find it very strange? In fact, the wearing of optical prescription glasses has become a very popular dress skill in the current days.
For example, some people would like to change the style or modify their own eyes, face and other parts, so they would put on optical glasses to meet the needs for pursuit of beauty and charm. The most popular optical glasses this season is mainly of the plastic frame showing a square design in various colors. This kind is the hottest among the consumers.

Many people think that diamonds are used for engagement rings because they are the most expensive stones. This is actually not the case Blue Sapphires, Rubies and Alexandrite are rarer and can be more expensive than diamonds. The ancient Greeks believed that diamonds were a symbol of inner fire and a reflection of the burning flame of everlasting love, they also called them ‘tear drops of the gods’. It is also thought the ancient Greeks started the tradition of wearing an engagement ring on the third finger of the left hand as according to them there is a vein that extends down from the heart to this finger. The diamond was probably also chosen as the stone of choice because it is the hardest mineral known to man, which helps to symbolise loves unbreakable bond.

Antique Jewelry.

Estate jewelry is a great thing.  You can find some valuable pieces that are sometimes at a great value.  Some true success stories have been told from the tales of estate jewelry hunting and finding.  Sometimes lost or vintage pieces can be amongst the treasure.  Some people running the sales do not care about the items or will offer whole mixed boxes of things as-is without looking into them at base cost.  You can find some great things in these boxes but they may also be trash.

Looking in your local paper or classifieds online is a great way to find estate sales in your area.  These sales can be lucrative profit when you are buying fine, collectable jewelry at a great discount.  You can keep, resell, or showcase your findings wherever you please.  When your story happens, be sure to post it online so everyone else can know how estate sale jewelry hunting can be a great success.
